What Happens If My Texas Driving Safety Course (DSC) Enrollment Expires

Your Texas Driving Safety Course enrollment is active for 120 days from the date you enrolled. If you have not completed the course by then, your access expires and you will need to re-purchase the course to finish.

What Happens at Expiration

When your 120-day access window ends, you lose access to the course. Any progress you made does not carry over to a new enrollment. If you re-purchase, you start the course from the beginning.

No completion certificate is issued for an incomplete course, and an expired enrollment does not start the 12-month clock for ticket dismissal purposes.

How to Avoid Expiration

The course takes 6 hours to complete. With 120 days of access, you have plenty of time — as long as you do not wait until the last minute. If you are taking the course for ticket dismissal, keep in mind that you also have a court deadline (typically 90 days from when permission was granted). Your court deadline is almost always shorter than your enrollment window, so prioritize the court deadline.

If You Need to Re-Enroll

If your enrollment has expired, return to drivinglogic.com and purchase the course again. The $29 fee applies to the new enrollment. Contact Driving Logic support if you have questions about your account status.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund if my enrollment expired before I finished? No. Per the Terms and Conditions, refunds are not issued for non-completion within the allowed access window.

Will Driving Logic warn me before my access expires? Check your enrollment confirmation email for your start date. Count 120 days forward to determine your expiration date. Contact Driving Logic support if you are unsure of your enrollment status.

Does an expired enrollment affect my court case? If you were taking the course for ticket dismissal, an expired enrollment means no certificate was issued. Contact your court immediately — especially if your court deadline is approaching or has passed.

Can I transfer my progress to a new enrollment? No. A new enrollment starts the course from the beginning.

What if my court deadline and enrollment expiration are both approaching? Prioritize finishing the course as quickly as possible. Contact your court to ask about an extension if you are at risk of missing your court deadline.
