How Do I Submit My Certificate to the Court?
After you complete the course and receive your DIC 552B certificate, you are responsible for submitting it to your court. Driving Logic is required to report your completion to the Virginia DMV automatically, but does not submit your certificate to the court on your behalf.
Steps to Submit to Your Court
Download your certificate from the PDF attachment in your certificate email; it is not available in your online course account
Print it on plain white 8½" × 11" bonded paper only if your court accepts a printed PDF. Do not alter it. If your court requires an original paper certificate or says a printed electronic certificate is not acceptable, confirm an acceptable option with the court before enrolling; Driving Logic does not mail original paper certificates.
Contact your court's clerk's office to confirm their submission process — some courts accept walk-in submission, others may allow mail or a drop box
Submit before your deadline — check your court paperwork for the due date
Keep a copy for your records
Does Driving Logic Submit to the Court?
No. Driving Logic is required to report your completion to the Virginia DMV electronically within 24 hours after course completion, including weekends and holidays. Court submission is always your responsibility.
What If You Do Not Know Your Court's Submission Process?
Call the clerk's office of the court listed on your court order or traffic citation. They can tell you exactly how and where to submit your certificate and confirm your deadline.

Frequently Asked Questions
My court is asking for proof that I completed the course. What do I give them? Follow your court’s exact document and submission requirements. Driving Logic issues the DIC 552B as an emailed PDF and does not mail an original paper certificate. A printed PDF must not be presented as acceptable when your court has specifically rejected it. Ask the clerk to confirm an acceptable option before enrolling, and contact our team if you need help with our certificate format. We cannot guarantee court acceptance.
What if I miss the court's deadline? Contact your court's clerk's office as soon as possible. Missing a court-ordered deadline can have serious consequences. Driving Logic cannot extend court deadlines.
What if the court says they have no record of my completion? Make sure you have already submitted your certificate to the court directly. Driving Logic submits to the DMV only — the court needs your certificate from you.
