Yes. The Texas Driving Safety Course is a 6-hour course and includes required timers throughout the instructional content. These topic timers enforce the required instructional pacing of the course.

Each timed topic must remain open for its required period before it can be marked complete. While the timer is running, you can read and review the material, but you cannot complete that topic or advance to the next topic until the timer expires. Once the timer expires and the topic requirements are satisfied, you can complete the topic and continue.

Course progression is sequential. Read and review the current topic while its timer runs, then complete its requirements and continue after the timer expires.
