You have passed the Florida Driver Education Traffic Safety (DETS) Course when you receive your completion certificate by email. The certificate is sent automatically after you achieve a score of 80% or higher on the final exam and meet all other course requirements.

You will see your final exam score immediately after submitting the exam. If you scored 80% or higher, the course is complete and your certificate will be emailed to the address you used at enrollment. You do not need to do anything to trigger the certificate — delivery is automatic.

Your course dashboard will also reflect completion status after you finish. If all lessons, quizzes, and the final exam are marked complete, you have met the course requirements.

If you believe you passed but have not received your certificate within a reasonable time, check your spam or junk folder first. If you still cannot find it, let us know and we can help.

How will I know when I have completed the course? Your completion certificate will be emailed to you automatically once all requirements are met — including passing the final exam with 80% or higher.

Can I see my final exam score right away? Yes. Your score is displayed immediately after you submit the final exam.

Does Driving Logic notify FLHSMV when I pass? Yes. Driving Logic submits your completion to FLHSMV through DICIS within 1 business day of your course completion.

Can I download a copy of my certificate later? Your certificate is emailed to you as a PDF. Save a copy when you receive it. If you need it resent, let us know and we can help.
