Do I Have to Pass Each Quiz to Continue in the Tennessee Driver Education Course (Traffic School)?
Yes. You must pass each chapter quiz with a score of 80% or higher before the next chapter becomes available. The course is sequential — you cannot skip a quiz or bypass it.
How Does the Gating Work?
After you complete the chapter content pages, the chapter quiz becomes available. Once you pass the quiz, the next chapter unlocks. This repeats through all 8 chapters.

Frequently Asked Questions
If I fail Quiz 4, do I lose progress on Chapters 1–3? No. Progress on all previously completed chapters and quizzes is saved permanently. Failing a quiz only means you need to retake that quiz before advancing.
What if I already know the material? Can I just take the quiz? No. The chapter content pages must be completed (with page timers) before the quiz becomes available. This is required to meet the 4-hour course minimum.
