Do I Have to Pass Each Quiz to Continue in the Missouri Driver Improvement Program (DIP)?
Yes. You must pass each lesson quiz with a score of 80% or higher before the next lesson becomes available. The course is sequential — you cannot skip a quiz or bypass it.
How Does the Gating Work?
After you complete a lesson, the quiz for that lesson becomes available. Once you pass the quiz, the next lesson unlocks. This sequence repeats through all 6 lessons.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I already know the material? Can I just take the quiz without reading the lesson? No. The lesson content must be completed before the quiz becomes available. This is required to meet the 8-hour minimum course time.
Can I retake a quiz I already passed to improve my score? Let us know and we can help if you have questions about retaking a quiz you have already passed.
If I fail Quiz 3, do I lose my progress on Lessons 1 and 2? No. Your progress on all previously completed lessons and quizzes is saved permanently. Failing a quiz only means you need to retake that quiz before advancing — it does not affect earlier work.
