Yes. You can pause your course at any time and return later. Your progress saves automatically each time you complete a lesson or quiz — you do not need to do anything special before closing the course.

There is no pause button to press. Simply close the course window or browser tab when you need to stop.

If you close the course partway through a lesson, you may need to repeat that lesson, but you will not lose any completed lessons or quizzes.

To resume, go to drivinglogic.com and log in using the email address used for your order and the password you set through the email link sent after purchase. Your course will be waiting exactly where you left off.

Pausing the course does not reduce the time you have already completed. All active time you have spent in the course counts toward any minimum time requirement set by your state regulator. When you return, the course picks up where you left off and continues tracking your time.

If your course has a state-mandated minimum time requirement (such as 4 hours, 6 hours, or 8 hours), pausing does not waive that requirement. You will still need to complete the full required time.

Pausing the course does not extend any deadline set by your court, state regulator, or other authority. Course deadlines run from the date of your requirement notice — not from the date you started or paused the course. If you have a deadline, plan your pauses accordingly.

If you enrolled voluntarily, there is no deadline other than the 120-day access window, which starts at enrollment.
