How Do I Know If I Passed the Texas Adult Driver Education Course (ADE)
You have passed when all required course content/topics and participation assessments are complete, required timed progression has been satisfied, and the comprehensive final is passed at 70% or higher. Check your course dashboard for completion. Your emailed ADEE-1317 certificate also confirms successful completion.
What Triggers the Certificate
The course marks you as complete after you:
Complete all required course content/topics in all seven lessons
Successfully complete all required participation assessments
Satisfy required timed progression — complete each timed topic only after its timer expires
Pass the comprehensive final: 30 questions (15 Highway Signs + 15 Traffic Laws), with 70% or higher (21 of 30 correct)
Once all conditions are met, your ADEE-1317 certificate is generated and emailed to you within 5 minutes.
Checking Your Progress During the Course
Check your course dashboard for your recorded progress and completion status. All required content/topics, participation assessments, timed progression, and the comprehensive final must be complete.
If You Have Not Received a Certificate
If you believe you have finished but have not received a certificate email:
Check your spam or junk folder
Confirm you are checking the email address used at enrollment
Log in and verify all lessons and the DPS exam show as complete in your dashboard
Contact Driving Logic support if everything appears complete but no certificate arrived

I passed the participation quizzes but have not received a certificate — what do I do? Complete all required content/topics in all seven lessons, successfully complete the required participation assessments, satisfy required timed progression, and pass the comprehensive final at 70% or higher. If all requirements are complete, allow up to 5 minutes for the email, check the signup email address and spam/junk, then contact support if it is still missing.
Is the certificate email the only way to know I completed the course? No. You can also check completion in your course dashboard. A missing certificate email does not by itself mean the course is incomplete.
Can I check my DPS exam score after finishing? Yes. Your score is shown immediately after you submit the exam and is also accessible in your course dashboard.
My certificate has the wrong name — what do I do? Contact Driving Logic support immediately. The name on the ADEE-1317 certificate must match your government-issued ID exactly for the DPS to accept it. We will correct and reissue the certificate.
