The final is taken online within the ADE course. Online delivery alone does not establish that reference materials are permitted. Follow the instructions displayed for your examination. If they do not clearly address notes or reference materials, contact Driving Logic support before beginning. If you want to pause, check the displayed exam instructions and do not close the exam window until you have confirmed whether your answers will be saved.

Review the required course content and the Texas Driver Handbook before starting. Be ready to answer from your own knowledge. The Texas Driver Handbook is available free on the Texas Department of Public Safety website at dps.texas.gov.

The course includes the required comprehensive Texas Highway Sign and Traffic Law Examination. Each attempt contains 30 multiple-choice questions: 15 Highway Signs and 15 Traffic Laws, randomly selected from separate larger categorized banks. A score of 70% or higher (21 of 30 correct) is required to pass.

You have a maximum of three final exam attempts. After the first or second failed attempt, review the course material and retake the final using different questions. A third failed final means you fail the course.
