If you do not finish the Florida Driver Education Traffic Safety (DETS) Course, you will not receive a certificate and Driving Logic will not report your completion to FLHSMV. Without a certificate, you cannot satisfy the DETS requirement for a Florida learner's license.

Your certificate is issued only after you complete all 4 lessons, all unit quizzes, the final exam with a score of 80% or higher, and the full 6-hour instructional time requirement. If any of these steps are not completed, the course is incomplete and no certificate is issued.

You have 120 days from your enrollment date to complete the course. If you do not finish within that window, your access to the course closes. You will need to re-enroll and restart the course to complete the DETS requirement.

Your progress is saved automatically as you go. As long as you are within your 120-day window, you can return at any time and pick up where you left off. Plan your sessions so you finish with time to spare.

What happens if I run out of time before finishing? Your course access closes after 120 days and your progress is no longer available. You would need to re-enroll and restart the course.

Can I still get a refund if I do not finish? Driving Logic offers a full refund within 30 days of purchase if your certificate has not been issued. If more than 30 days have passed, the standard refund window has closed. Let us know and we can help.

Will I lose my saved progress if I stop for a few weeks? No. Your progress is saved to your account. As long as you return before your 120-day access window closes, you can continue from where you stopped.

Does FLHSMV get notified if I do not finish? No. Driving Logic only reports completed courses to FLHSMV. Incomplete courses are not reported.

Do I have to start over if I re-enroll after my access expires? Yes. Re-enrollment starts a fresh course from the beginning.
