Does Driving Logic Report My Completion to the Arizona Court

Yes. Driving Logic submits your Arizona Defensive Driving Course completion record to the Arizona statewide defensive driving database within 1 business day of your course completion. You do not need to contact the court or submit anything yourself.

How Arizona Court Reporting Works

Arizona uses a centralized statewide defensive driving database that connects all certified course providers with courts across the state. When you complete the course, Driving Logic certifies your completion and submits your record to this database within 1 business day. The database notifies the court of jurisdiction, which then processes your citation for dismissal.

This real-time database integration is an Arizona Supreme Court requirement. All certified providers must use it — completion records cannot be submitted by paper or email.

Driving Logic Also Remits Your Court Fees

In addition to reporting your completion, Driving Logic remits the court diversion fee and state fees collected during your enrollment to the appropriate court and state agencies. This is handled as part of the same process and also does not require any action from you.

Your Certificate Is Separate From Court Reporting

Your completion certificate is emailed to you after you finish the course. Court database reporting happens within 1 business day. These are two separate steps — both happen automatically.

Confirming Your Citation Was Dismissed

Courts do not send dismissal notifications to students or course providers. The only way to confirm your citation was dismissed is to call your court directly. Most providers recommend waiting approximately 2 weeks after completing the course before calling.

Do I need to notify the court that I completed the course? No. Driving Logic submits your completion record to the Arizona court database within 1 business day. You do not need to do anything.

How quickly will the court have my completion record? Driving Logic reports within 1 business day. The court database is updated in real time once the submission is made.

Why does Driving Logic remit the court fee? Arizona law requires certified defensive driving schools to collect and remit all fees — including court diversion fees and state fees — on the student's behalf. You cannot pay these fees directly to the court.
