What Happens After I Finish the Missouri Driver Improvement Program (DIP)?

After you pass the final exam and meet all course requirements, Driving Logic automatically emails you your Form 4444 completion certificate as a PDF attachment. Your next steps are to take that certificate to your court.

Step-by-Step: What to Do After You Finish

Step 1 — Check your email

Driving Logic emails you Form 4444 immediately after you complete the course. Check your inbox for an email from Driving Logic with your certificate as a PDF attachment. If you do not see it, check your spam or junk folder.

Step 2 — Print your Form 4444

Print the Form 4444 PDF. Your court requires a physical copy.

Step 3 — Take Form 4444 to your court

Bring the printed Form 4444 to the court that ordered your course. A court clerk will sign and date the certificate.

Step 4 — The court submits to the Missouri DOR

After the clerk signs your Form 4444, the court forwards your completion record to the Missouri Department of Revenue within 15 days.

Step 5 — Points not assessed

Once the Missouri DOR processes your record, points will not be assessed for the qualifying conviction — provided you completed the course within 60 days of your conviction date.

Does Driving Logic Submit My Completion to the DOR?

No. Driving Logic issues your Form 4444 and emails it to you. The submission to the Missouri Department of Revenue goes through your court, not through Driving Logic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I mail Form 4444 to the DOR myself? No. After the court clerk signs your Form 4444, your court is responsible for forwarding the completion record to the Missouri DOR within 15 days. You do not need to mail anything to the DOR directly — check with your court if you have questions about their specific process.

What if I lose my Form 4444 before getting to court? Let us know and we can resend your Form 4444 by email so you can print a new copy.

How long does the DOR take to update my record after the court submits? The court has 15 days to forward the completion record to the DOR. DOR processing time after that varies. See the article on DOR processing times for more information.

What if my court is not showing my completion? Confirm that you have completed all course requirements and received your Form 4444 by email. Then confirm you took it to the court and the clerk signed it. If the court has submitted it but your record has not updated, contact your court directly.
