Yes. There is a 4-question quiz at the end of each lesson and a final assessment — the official Texas DPS Highway Sign and Traffic Law Examination — at the end of the course.
Lesson Quizzes
Each lesson ends with a 4-question multiple-choice quiz covering the content from that lesson. You must answer at least 3 of 4 questions correctly (75%) to advance to the next lesson. If you do not pass on your first attempt, you can retake the quiz immediately. There is no limit on retakes and no penalty for retaking.
The DPS Exam
The final assessment is the official Texas DPS Highway Sign and Traffic Law Examination — a 30-question multiple-choice exam set by the Texas Department of Public Safety. This is the same written knowledge exam that would otherwise be administered at a DPS driver license office. Because it is built into this course, passing it online means you do not need to take the written test again at the DPS.
Passing score: 70% — at least 21 of 30 correct. Attempt limit: You have 3 attempts to pass the DPS exam. If you do not pass within 3 attempts, you must repurchase the course to try again.
