The passing score for each module quiz is 70% — at least 3 of 4 questions correct. The DPS permit exam in Module 1 also requires 70% — at least 21 of 30 questions correct.
Module Quiz Passing Score
Each of the 12 module quizzes has 4 questions. The teen must answer at least 3 correctly to pass and advance to the next module.
4 correct = 100% — passes
3 correct = 75% — passes
2 correct = 50% — does not pass, retake immediately
1 correct = 25% — does not pass, retake immediately
0 correct = 0% — does not pass, retake immediately
DPS Permit Exam Passing Score
The DPS permit exam at the end of Module 1 has 30 questions. The teen must answer at least 21 correctly (70%) to pass and receive the DE-964 Permit Certificate.
