How Do I Know If I Passed the Texas Parent Taught Driver Education Course
There are two completion milestones, each confirmed by a certificate becoming available for download.
Milestone 1 — Module 1 Complete
You know Module 1 is done when the DE-964 6-Hour Permit Qualification Certificate appears in your course dashboard. This happens automatically after:
All Module 1 content is complete (6 hours)
The DPS permit exam is passed with 70% or higher (21 of 30)
Milestone 2 — Full Course Complete
You know the full course is done when the DE-964 Full Completion Certificate appears in your course dashboard. This happens automatically after:
All 12 modules are complete
All 12 module quizzes are passed at 70% or higher (3 of 4)
Minimum instructional time of 1,320 minutes is met
Checking Progress During the Course
Log in to drivinglogic.com and view your course dashboard at any time. Each module shows as complete once its quiz is passed. The DPS exam shows as complete once passed.

Frequently Asked Questions
The teen completed all modules but no Completion Certificate appeared — what do we do? Log in and verify all 12 modules and all 12 quizzes show as complete in the dashboard. Also confirm the DPS exam in Module 1 shows as passed. If everything appears complete and no certificate is available, contact Driving Logic support.
Can the teen see their individual quiz scores? Yes. Scores are shown immediately after each quiz and are visible in the dashboard.
What if the certificate name is wrong? Contact Driving Logic support immediately. The name on both DE-964 certificates must match the teen's legal government-issued ID exactly for the DPS to accept them.
The course shows all green but no email arrived — where is the certificate? Log in to the dashboard and download the certificate directly. Also check the spam folder of the enrollment email address. Contact support if the certificate cannot be located.
