What Should I Do If the Tennessee DSHS Does Not Show My Course Completion?

If Tennessee does not show your course completion, contact support promptly to check the provider-submission record. A certificate does not prove Department receipt or processing.

What Should I Do If the Tennessee DSHS Does Not Show My Course Completion?

If the Tennessee DSHS has not updated your driving record to reflect your point reduction, work through the steps below.

Step 1 — Confirm You Received Your Certificate

Check that Driving Logic emailed you a certificate after you completed the course. Look in your inbox and spam folder. If you did not receive it, let us know and we can verify your completion and resend.

Step 2 — Check the Completion Deadline and Notice

For eligible speeding-point removal, complete the approved four-hour course within 90 days of the speeding conviction. Follow the instructions in your Department notice and ask support to check the provider’s completion-submission record. Course completion, provider submission and the points adjustment appearing on your record are separate events.

Step 3 — Ask Support to Check Provider Submission

If your completion is missing or a deadline is approaching, contact support through the chat on your course site so we can check the completion and provider-submission record. You do not need to wait several weeks before asking for help. A certificate alone does not prove Department receipt or points removal.

Step 4 — Contact the Tennessee DSHS

For the Department’s receipt or driving-record status, use the contact instructions in your notice or contact the Financial Responsibility Division:

  • Mail: P.O. Box 945, Nashville, TN 37202-0945

  • Online: Tennessee e-Services portal

Ask them to confirm receipt of your certificate submission and the status of your point reduction.

Step 5 — Contact Us

If your completion is missing or a deadline is approaching, contact support through the chat on your course site so we can check the completion and provider-submission record. You do not need to wait several weeks before asking for help. A certificate alone does not prove Department receipt or points removal.
