What Is the New Jersey Defensive Driving Course (DDC)
The New Jersey Defensive Driving Course (DDC) is a fully online, state-approved driver improvement program. Completing it can reduce up to 2 points from your New Jersey driving record and may qualify you for an automobile insurance discount. The course meets New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) requirements for instructional time, participation tracking, and student assessment.
How the Course Works
The course is completed entirely online at your own pace. To finish it you must complete all 6 instructional modules, pass a quiz after each module, pass a final exam with a score of 80% or higher, meet participation tracking and identity verification requirements, and complete the required 6 hours of instructional time.
After you finish, your completion certificate is emailed to you and Driving Logic submits your completion record to the New Jersey MVC.
