If you do not pass a lesson quiz, you can retake it immediately. There is no limit on retakes, no waiting period, and no penalty for failing. The next lesson will not unlock until you pass, but you can keep trying until you do.

Each lesson quiz has 4 questions. You need at least 3 correct to pass. Answering 2 or fewer correctly means you did not pass that quiz and the next lesson remains locked until you retake and pass.

After seeing your result, you will have the option to retake the quiz. Questions may be different on the retake — the course draws from a question bank for each lesson. Review the lesson content before retaking if you are unsure about specific topics.

Failing a quiz does not affect your certificate eligibility, your course access, or your account in any way. You simply retake the quiz until you pass. Most students who fail a first attempt pass on their second try after reviewing the relevant lesson content.

Will failing a quiz affect my certificate? No. Your certificate is issued after you pass all 5 lesson quizzes, regardless of how many attempts it took. The number of attempts is not recorded on your certificate.

Can I review my wrong answers before retaking? Yes. After submitting your quiz, you can see which questions you answered incorrectly before choosing to retake.

Do I have to wait before retaking a quiz? No. You can retake immediately after failing. There is no waiting period.

Will the same questions appear on my retake? Not necessarily. The course draws questions from a bank for each lesson, so retakes may include different questions covering the same topics.
