Your DS-230 completion certificate is emailed to you automatically after you pass all 5 lesson quizzes and complete all required instructional time. No request is needed — delivery is automatic.
How Certificate Delivery Works
Once the course marks you as complete, a DS-230 certificate is generated with your name, completion date, and certificate number. It is sent as a PDF to the email address you used when you registered. This typically happens within a short time after finishing your last lesson quiz.
What the Certificate Includes

Your full legal name
Course completion date
DS-230 certificate number
Driving Logic's school name and TDLR license information
What to Do With Your Certificate
Your certificate alone is not enough to get your ticket dismissed. For ticket dismissal, you must submit two documents to your court by the deadline:

A certified Type 3A driving record from the Texas Department of Public Safety
Order your Type 3A driving record from the Texas DPS website as soon as you complete the course so you have it ready before the deadline. See the court submission article for full details.
If You Are Taking the Course Voluntarily
If you are taking the course for an insurance discount rather than ticket dismissal, provide your DS-230 certificate to your insurance company. No court submission is required.

Can I download a copy of my certificate? Yes. The certificate is delivered as a PDF attachment. You can save and print it from the email.
Do I submit my certificate to TDLR? No. Driving Logic reports your completion to TDLR. You submit your DS-230 certificate to the court (along with your Type 3A driving record) for ticket dismissal.
What if I do not receive my certificate? Check your spam folder first. If it is not there, contact Driving Logic support with your account email and completion date and we can resend it.
