Can I Get a Refund for the Texas Parent Taught Driver Education Course
Yes. Driving Logic offers a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided no DE-964 certificate has been issued.
Refund Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund:
Your request must be made within 30 days of your purchase date
No DE-964 certificate — neither the Permit Qualification Certificate nor the Full Completion Certificate — has been issued
If the teen has completed Module 1, passed the DPS permit exam, and received a DE-964 Permit Qualification Certificate, a refund is not available — the certificate has been issued.
How to Request a Refund
Contact Driving Logic support with your account email address and the reason for your request. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the request.
When Refunds Are Not Available
A DE-964 certificate of any kind has been issued
More than 30 days have passed since purchase
Note on the PTDE Packet
The $20 PTDE Program Guide is purchased from TDLR, not Driving Logic. Refund requests for the PTDE Packet must be directed to TDLR directly. Driving Logic cannot refund the PTDE Packet fee.

If the DE-964 Permit Qualification Certificate was issued after passing the DPS exam in Module 1, a refund is not available. If the teen did not pass the exam and no certificate was issued, contact us to discuss your situation.
