Does Driving Logic Report My Texas Teen Driver Education Completion to TDLR
Yes. Driving Logic reports completion data to TDLR automatically — once when the DE-964 Permit Qualification Certificate is issued after Module 1, and again when the DE-964 Full Completion Certificate is issued after all 24 hours. No action is required from the student or parent.
What Driving Logic Reports
Driving Logic is a TDLR-licensed driver education provider. As required, we report: * Module 1 completion and DPS exam pass when the Permit Certificate is issued * Full course completion when the Completion Certificate is issued
What Driving Logic Does Not Report
Driving Logic does not contact the DPS driver license office on the family's behalf, does not submit certificates to the DPS directly, and does not track or report BTW hours — those are managed by the parent through the PTDE Program Guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to do anything to trigger the report? No. Reporting happens automatically when each certificate is issued.
Will the DPS have my completion on record when we arrive? The DPS verifies your certificate using the security features on the DE-964 document. Bring the printed certificates — the DPS does not rely solely on a database lookup at the counter.
What if TDLR does not show the teen's completion? Contact Driving Logic support with the account email and completion date. We can verify the report and assist with any issues.
