What Happens After I Finish the Missouri Driver Improvement Program (DIP)?

After you pass the final exam and meet all course requirements, Driving Logic automatically emails you your Form 4444 completion certificate as a PDF attachment. Your next step is to submit that certificate to the Missouri Department of Revenue.

Step-by-Step: What to Do After You Finish

Step 1 — Check your email

Driving Logic emails you Form 4444 immediately after you complete the course. Check your inbox for an email from Driving Logic with your certificate as a PDF attachment. If you do not see it, check your spam or junk folder.

Step 2 — Print your Form 4444

Print the Form 4444 PDF on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.

Step 3 — Follow the submission steps for your approval type Court-order customers: Take your printed Form 4444 to the court that approved your participation. A court clerk signs and dates it. You then mail the signed Form 4444 to the Missouri Department of Revenue. The DOR mailing address is on the bottom of Form 4444. FCC-track customers: Follow the submission instructions provided by the FCC for your county. Step 4 — Points not assessed

Once the Missouri DOR processes your Form 4444, points will not be assessed for the qualifying conviction — provided you completed the course within 60 days of your conviction date and submitted Form 4444 within 15 days of completion.

Does Driving Logic Submit My Completion to the DOR?

No. Driving Logic issues your Form 4444 and emails it to you. Submitting it to the Missouri Department of Revenue is your responsibility.

What Does and Does Not Change on Your Record

Completing the DIP prevents points from being assessed for the qualifying conviction. It does not remove the ticket or conviction from your driving record. The conviction remains — only the points are stayed.
