You have passed the Texas Adult Driver Education Course when you receive your ADEE-1317 completion certificate by email. That email is your confirmation that all lessons are complete, all lesson quizzes are passed, the DPS exam is passed, and the course is finished.
What Triggers the Certificate
The course marks you as complete after you:
Complete all content in all 7 lessons
Pass the 4-question end-of-lesson quiz for each lesson (3 of 4 correct required)
Accumulate the required 6 hours of active instructional time
Pass the 30-question Texas DPS Highway Sign and Traffic Law Examination with 70% or higher
Once all conditions are met, your ADEE-1317 certificate is generated and emailed to you immediately.
Checking Your Progress During the Course
While still working through the course, you can see your progress in your course dashboard. Each lesson shows as complete once you pass its quiz. The DPS exam shows as complete once you pass it. When all lessons and the DPS exam show complete, the course is done.
If You Have Not Received a Certificate
If you believe you have finished but have not received a certificate email:
Check your spam or junk folder
Confirm you are checking the email address used at enrollment
Log in and verify all lessons and the DPS exam show as complete in your dashboard
Contact Driving Logic support if everything appears complete but no certificate arrived

Frequently Asked Questions
I passed all the lesson quizzes but have not received a certificate — what do I do? You also need to pass the DPS exam, which is the final lesson. Log in and check whether the DPS exam shows as complete in your dashboard. If it does not, complete the exam to receive your certificate.
Is there a separate pass/fail notification? No. Your certificate email is the confirmation. If you received the certificate, you passed. If you have not received it, the course is not yet complete.
Can I check my DPS exam score after finishing? Yes. Your score is shown immediately after you submit the exam and is also accessible in your course dashboard.
My certificate has the wrong name — what do I do? Contact Driving Logic support immediately. The name on the ADEE-1317 certificate must match your government-issued ID exactly for the DPS to accept it. We will correct and reissue the certificate.
