What If I Enrolled in the Wrong Texas Driving Safety Course (DSC)

If you believe you enrolled in the wrong course, contact Driving Logic support as soon as possible — before completing the course. The sooner you reach out, the more options are available to resolve the situation.

Common Wrong-Enrollment Situations

Enrolled in a course for a different state If you received a Texas citation but accidentally enrolled in a course for another state — or vice versa — contact us immediately. A Texas court requires a TDLR-approved Texas Driving Safety Course certificate. A certificate from another state will not be accepted.

Enrolled in an adult driver education course instead of driving safety The Texas Driving Safety Course (for ticket dismissal and insurance discounts) is different from the Texas Adult Driver Education course (for obtaining a first license). Make sure you enrolled in the correct course for your situation.

Enrolled under a different name or email If you enrolled under a name that does not match your driver license, your certificate may be rejected by the court. Contact us right away so we can correct your account information before a certificate is issued.

What to Do

Contact Driving Logic support and explain the situation. Include:

  • The email address you used to enroll

  • The course you enrolled in

  • The course you intended to enroll in

  • Whether you have started or completed any portion of the course

We will review your enrollment and advise on the best path forward, which may include a transfer or refund depending on how far into the course you are. See the refund article for details on our refund policy.
