How the Online Course Works
You access the course by logging in at drivinglogic.com from any device with a modern web browser. The course is self-paced — you read the content, complete interactive sections, and answer quiz questions at your own speed, subject to the state-required minimum instructional time.
Accepted Statewide
Driving Logic's online course is approved by TDLR and accepted by all Texas courts statewide. Courts cannot require you to take an in-person course if you prefer to complete it online.

Will my court accept an online certificate? Yes. Driving Logic's course is approved by TDLR and accepted by all Texas courts statewide. Online and in-person courses result in the same DS-230 certificate.
Can I take this course from outside of Texas? Yes. The course is online and accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. The course is for drivers who received a Texas citation, regardless of where you are physically located when you take it.
Is there any part of the course I have to do in person? No. The entire course — including enrollment, content, quizzes, and certificate delivery — is completed online. There are no in-person requirements.
What if I prefer to take a course in a classroom? TDLR also approves in-person driving safety courses offered by other providers. Contact TDLR or search the TDLR provider directory at tdlr.texas.gov if you prefer a classroom option.
Does the online course count the same as an in-person course? Yes. Both in-person and online TDLR-approved courses result in the same DS-230 completion certificate and are accepted equally by Texas courts and insurance companies.
